Where SimplyBook.me fits
When is SimplyBook.me the right choice?
For many small and medium businesses SimplyBook.me is the better choice. Stay with it when:
- Your bookings fit its plans: up to 2,000 a month and 30 providers on Premium.
- Its custom features cover what you need, from calendar sync to a client app.
- You want live support and a ready setup more than control of the code.
- Your industry is one it serves out of the box: beauty, fitness, education, medical, rentals.
Signs
How do you know you have outgrown SimplyBook.me?
You plan around booking caps
Premium allows 2,000 bookings a month. Above that you buy packs of 100 or move to Enterprise, priced after a call.
Features cost extra one by one
Your own domain is an add-on, SMS and WhatsApp come in credits, and lower plans cap how many custom features you can switch on.
Your brand is not fully yours
Premium removes the branding in the page footer. Full white label is on Enterprise only.
Your systems do not talk to it
Its integrations list shows no native ERP or CRM connector, and Zapier works one way: SimplyBook.me sends data out but does not receive it.
Your rules have no setting
Bookings depend on logic no setting covers: equipment, approvals, prices that change with demand, a process in several steps.
You run several locations
Access across several locations is listed only on the Enterprise plan.
Side by side
SimplyBook.me or a system you own?
SimplyBook.me is rented and shared with every other customer. Your own system is built for your rules and the code is yours.
Limits
With SimplyBook.me: Up to 2,000 bookings a month and 30 providers on Premium.
With your own system: No caps on bookings, staff or locations.
Price
With SimplyBook.me: A plan every month, plus add-ons: your domain, SMS credits, booking packs.
With your own system: One fixed price for the build, then hosting billed by usage.
Integrations
With SimplyBook.me: Custom features and a one-way Zapier connector.
With your own system: Direct connections to your ERP, CRM and invoicing, in both directions.
Brand
With SimplyBook.me: Full white label only on Enterprise. Your own domain is an add-on.
With your own system: Your domain and your design from the first day.
Cost
Is your own system cheaper than SimplyBook.me?
SimplyBook.me costs €11.90 to €49.90 a month on a yearly plan, for 100 to 2,000 bookings a month. SMS credits, extra booking packs and your own domain come on top. Premium with a domain and some SMS credits can stay under €1,000 a year. A system we build costs $15,000 to $50,000, paid once.
So price alone is rarely a reason to leave SimplyBook.me. If cost is your only problem, stay. Your own system pays off when the tool holds the business back: work done by hand around it, caps you plan around, or rules it cannot express.
After the build there is no subscription and no commission on bookings. Hosting is billed by usage, and three years of support come with the project.
