Adding Days Off or Holidays
Overview
To block specific hours or entire days from your service booking pages, use the Exceptions feature. There are three methods available.
Method 1: Add Exceptions to a Service
This removes availability for a single service only.
- Open the Timerise app at https://admin.timerise.io/
- Navigate to the Services section
- Select your desired service
- Open the Schedule tab
- Locate the Exceptions section and click Add exception
- Choose the Start date, Start time, and End time
- Click Add to confirm
Method 2: Add Exceptions to Your Profile
This removes availability across all services you're assigned to.
- Open the Timerise app at https://admin.timerise.io/
- Click Profile in the main navigation
- Select My account
- Find the Exceptions section and click Add exception
- Set your Start date, Start time, and End time
- Click Add to confirm
Method 3: Sync with Google Calendar
This removes availability from all assigned services using Google Calendar events.
- Visit https://calendar.google.com/
- Create a new event on your desired date — use a specific time slot or all-day event
- Your connected Google Calendar automatically syncs with Timerise, blocking availability across all services
